Privacy Policy

It is Sleep Squad’s policy to respect and protect the privacy of our customers and all visitors to www.SleepSquad.com. Our commitment is that we will never knowingly disclose individually identifiable information about our customers to any third party without first securing permission to do so from the customer. The phrase "personal information" means any information by which you can be identified, such as you name, mailing address, email address or phone number.  It is the purpose of this policy to inform you what personal information we may collect from you, how we will use it, and how you may manage this information.

As a part of our commitment to your privacy, Sleep Squad supports and adheres to the guidelines and practices adopted by the Direct Marketing Association's "Privacy Promise to American Consumers." We have agreed to (1) provide customers with notice of their ability to opt out of information rental, sale or exchange with other marketers; (2) honor customers' requests not to share their information with other marketers; and (3) honor customers' requests not to receive mail, telephone or other solicitations from Sleep Squad.

Personal Information Collection
There are instances where Sleep Squad may ask you for personal information, such as your name or address, in order to support services that require registration such as maintaining “Your Selections”, setting appointments or adding you to mailing lists per your request. We will always give you the choice of whether or not you give us your personal information. This information is collected in order to:

  1. Collect and track usage on the site that will allow us to improve the content of our web site;
  2. Offer you products and services that we believe you may be interested in;
  3. Provide personalized experiences for existing customers maintaining access to their accounts;
  4. Ensure Sleep Squad policies are being met;
  5. Verify that all federal, state and local laws are being complied with;
  6. And/or for editorial and feedback solicitation purposes.
  7. If you change your mind in the future and do not want Sleep Squad to maintain any of your personal information, send an email to info@SleepSquad.com. Please include your exact name and email address. We will be sure your name is removed from our list.

 
Use of cookies
A cookie is a file that stores a personal preference file so that the originating server recognizes you as a unique user. Sleep Squad uses cookies to store visitors’ preferences, record session information such as items that consumers add to “Your Selections”, record user-specific information on what pages they access or visit, and to record past activity in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site in the future.
 
It is not possible for cookies to transfer any specific personal information or any information from your hard drive. Nor is it possible for cookies to be read by anyone other than the organization that creates it. Web users have the option to disable cookies on their web browser; however, doing so may result in the improper function of some portions of the Sleep Squad web site.  
 
Links to Other Sites
In order to provide you additional information, we may provide links to other sites that take you outside of Sleep Squad’s control. For example, we may provide an article on the latest sleep research that has a link within it that takes you to the site of the organization that did the research. This may also include links from partners that we may have a co-branding agreement with that use the Sleep Squad logos.  These other sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data, or solicit personal information.
 
Security
We use sophisticated encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of the personal information that you share with us. While Sleep Squad endeavors to protect its customer and visitor personal information and privacy, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online and you do so at your own risk.  Sleep Squad policy does not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, and therefore beyond Sleep Squad control and is not to be applied in any manner contrary to applicable law or governmental regulation.  Once we receive your transmission, we will do our best to protect its security on our systems.
